Stephen Holloway, O.D.
Dr. Stephen Holloway brings over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional eye care. With a passion for patient-centered care, Dr. Holloway specializes in comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis, and management of ocular diseases, such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. He is highly skilled in fitting all types of contact lenses, including those for complex vision needs, and is credentialed in co-managing refractive, cataract, and other ophthalmic surgeries with our strong network of specialists.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh (1998), Dr. Holloway completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Vision Science (2000) and Doctorate of Optometry (2003) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He has since been dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in optometry through ongoing education and professional development. Dr. Holloway serves on the Board of Directors for Vision Benefits of America and is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.
Dr. Holloway joined Advanced Family Eye Care after working in various practices across western Pennsylvania and completed an externship at the Baltimore Veterans Hospital. He is comfortable with patients of all ages due to his internships in pediatrics and low vision while attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
At Advanced Family Eye Care, Dr. Holloway is committed to making every patient feel welcome and comfortable. He believes in personalized care and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Holloway is available to discuss and concerns and provide tailored treatment plans to enhance your vision and overall eye health. Outside the office, Dr. Holloway enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their two dogs. He is an avid sports fan and is actively involved in the local community.
Tyler Dean, O.D.
Tyler Dean, O.D., has been an integral part of Advanced Family Eye Care since 2018. Growing up in Mars, Pennsylvania, Tyler developed a strong academic foundation at Washington and Jefferson College, where he graduated as Salutatorian in 2015 with a degree in Biochemistry. His journey in optometry led him to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he graduated in 2018, the same year he joined Advanced Family Eye Care. He now resides in Cranberry Township, PA.

Passionate about the field, Tyler was drawn to optometry for the opportunity it provides to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. His favorite part of his work is building relationships with his patients and their families, getting to know them over the years as he addresses their eye care needs. Tyler’s professional interests include managing ocular diseases, fitting specialty contact lenses, and supporting patients through the post-surgical healing process.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys boating, skiing, golf, and hunting. He and his fiancée, Melissa, are often found spending time with family and friends, golfing together, or cheering on their favorite sports teams.
Brett Moore, O.D.
Brett Moore, O.D., has been an optometrist at Advanced Family Eye Care since 2018. Originally from Lexington, North Carolina, Brett was inspired to pursue optometry by his parents, who both worked in the field and shared their passion for helping others. He completed his undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University before attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.

Brett and his wife, who grew up in Gibsonia, chose to settle in the Pittsburgh area to be closer to her family. They now have two daughters and are happy to call Pittsburgh home. In his practice, Brett focuses on both general and medical optometry, enjoying the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his patients and help them manage their vision and ocular health needs.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports fan, thrilled to be part of the Pittsburgh community.
